I just got a Brother Dremwever sewing, quilting and embroidery machine. The reason for the big purchases is I wanted to be able to work on bigger quilts, which requires a deeper throat (the space between the needle and the tower part of the machine.) and I have been wanting an embroidery machine sends I started to sew (about 10 years)
I spent several week researching the different bands of machines eliminating the ones that where ether to small, to expensive, or did not have what I was looking for. I had it narrowed down to two on being the Brother Dreamwever which is the one I got and Pfaff creative 4.5. It came down to I am familiar with a Brother machine. My fist sewing machine I bot my self was the Brother Innov-ís 40, and I still have the machine. I will keep it as my back up.
I still have to learn all the things the machine can do. So I won't be opening up personalized items or King and Queen size custom quilts just yet. But when I do get the hand of it I will let you all know.
